Stephanie and Eddie had the most fabulous wedding last month at the Casino Club. The couple lives in Vermont and loves the outdoors, so Allison from Stems brought the outdoors inside.
The Chuppah was very organic with greens and bright flowers woven in between the branches. Their two dogs could not attend, but as a surprise to the couple we had large photos of them on either side of the stage.
Unfortunately the bride broke her ankle the week before the wedding, but the show went on and she was a great sport! Stephanie came down the aisle with a knee scooter and the couple sat for the ceremony. It was very intimate as their two best friends, Phil and Ashley, married them.
To help the bride and groom enjoy the special day we arranged a horse and buggy come mid-afternoon to take them around the city. Matt Savage from Avery House photographed the couple. They loved this surprise.
Toni DiDinato from Rendezvous made the evening jump. From the violins during the ceremony and the music for dancing, the dance floor was packed all night. The bride even danced a bit on her scooter.
Instead of having a traditional first dance, the groom wrote and performed a song for the bride and it was truly amazing.
Everyone loved the dark chocolate menus and the La Adelita Taco Food Truck at the end of the night. I’ve never had such wonderful tacos and tostitos! Allison from Stems out did her self on this one. The affair could not have been better.
Stephanie is currently recovering from ankle surgery, but despite the set back she loved her wedding from beginning to the end. She provided the photos below.

On May 26th Stacy and Robby were married at the Orrington Hotel in Evanston. It was a beautiful event and there was a lot of warmth in the room. The florist, Anna Held, did an amazing job with all whites. The groom’s parents are old high school friends of mine and this was the second wedding I have done for the family. Amy and Matt were married at Independence Grove in Libertyville on Sunday, June 3rd and the weather could not have been better! Independence Grove is a Lake County forest preserve with a wonderful native garden where the ceremony took place.
The outdoor ceremony was very special. The colors of the sky and natural lush greenery worked in combination with the beautiful chuppah surrounded by family and friends created a very loving experience.
The 220 guests enjoyed music from the band, Rendez vous and food from Designed Cuisine. Oakmill Bakery provided the delicious tiered cake. Studio West captured the photographs and Don Hankins was the videographer. Beth Tarrant Tenney of Anna Held Floral Shop used pops of bold colors to accent the forest preserve.
It was a beautiful and loving wedding that Matt and Amy will always remember.
Jennifer and David were married at the newly remodeled Public Hotel and Pump Room on April 20th. I was so honored to be part of this couples special day. Their Fathers were ordained so that they could officiate the intimate wedding with 100 guests. Jennifer and David are expecting a child and could not be happier. The modern decor and flowers were from Allison Denny of Stems Chicago. Avery House Photography captured the special day and provided the photos below.
